Length of Program

  • 3-6 months depending on the dog’s level of fitness at the start of the program.  This program is flexible and can be customized to start simple and build up slowly or to start at a higher level and add more repetitions or duration per exercise.

Our canine hind limb strength program is designed to target the specific muscles in your dog’s rear limbs to improve their overall strength and mobility. Whether your dog is a working breed, an agility competitor, or simply loves to run and play, our program can help improve their performance and prevent injury.  We understand the importance of ensuring that your furry friend has a healthy and active lifestyle, which is why we’ve developed this specific program that is designed to target zones of the hip, knee and ankle. These concentrated circuits will help address muscle balance, body awareness, strength and flexibility.  This program will address specific weaknesses due to injury, age or chronic conditions like dysplasia or arthritis.

While this program focuses on the hind limbs, it’s important to remember that the body operates as a whole, complete system. Thus, each circuit  is carefully structured to ensure that the workout is safe, balanced, and appropriately integrated. This allows your dog to gain strength and range-of-motion without risking injury or sacrificing overall physical health.

Our program consists of a variety of exercises that can be done in the comfort of your own home and we provide tips and advice on how to properly execute each exercise to ensure your dog’s safety and maximum benefit. Our canine hind limb strength program is suitable for dogs of all ages and fitness levels, and can help prevent injuries and improve their overall quality of life.

We also offer in-suite hydrotherapy and advanced hind limb strength programs to further muscle development and endurance.
